Independent Living is a philosophy and a movement of people with disabilities who work for self-determination, equal opportunities and self-respect. Basic principles of Independent Living philofophy are:
- Choice
- decision making
- controll
- responsibility and
- right to fail
One of precognition for independent living of persons with disabilities is service of personal assistants.
